Thinkpad 380XD Won't start
I deleted the wrong files some how when i was cleaning up the hard drive on my thinkpad 380xd now it won.t start the 98 OS It also has a bad baterry. PLZ. HELP.

Welcome to TSF. If you know what files you deleted, you can boot the machine off of a floppy and replace the files from another machine using your CD. Otherwise, you'll need to reinstall Windows.

Unfortuantely the battery may be a lost cause. Replacing one of that age is nearly impossible and rebuilding it could be cost prohibitive.
Laboye's suggesting would be a good start.

Your best bet is here:
