Laptop Will not restore

I own a AS45 Toshiba Satellite Tablet PC...Yesterday came home and it had shut itself off. When i powered it own it went to the Windows XP screen, and then went to a black screen and the harddrive would not stop reading. I repeated this twice. After 30 minutes I put the Restore CD from Toshiba in and ran the system restore...about 30 percent into the installing of Windows XP it asked me to "Output GHOST.ERR?" When I selected NO, it went to a black screen with a ton of code on it and the harddrive would not quit reading. When i tried again, it asked the same thing and then I selected YES, it then told me "GHOST.ERR not Found-Instert diskett"

What is a good way to fix this problem, or do I have to get a new Harddrive?

please help me!!

If it stops and the ghost program is giving you the same error in the same spot and it's complaining about output, I'd most certainly blame it on the hard drive. A replacement is in order. Toshiba tends to use physically smaller hard drives in their tablet PCs. Are you clear on the 'AS45' model number? Please look on the bottom of the computer and look near xxxxxx System Unit. Where xxxxxx is, there should be the model number.

the model is A45-S121...my typing sucks sometimes. Where would I be able to get a harddrive for that? And how hard is it to replace myself so I dont have to pay tons of money for labor?
