Does anyone know how to enable my old toshiba laptop (satellite pro 410CDT) for wireless card - it runs Windows 98SE. I've tried for hours, with no results. I have installed a wireless card driver and when I plug the card it lights up like it has a connection, but the card's configuration utility program that should allow me to choose the network doesn't appear. Also, my browser can't connect?
Thanks a lot for your help! |

Hi,
I am using a GemTek Wireless PC Card and it connects to the non-encrypted wireless network in my neighborhood coffe shop. It works with no problems on my other computer and this card states that it should work with Win98SE. Thanks. |

Are you sure your system is 98SE and not the original 98? Have you tried starting the wireless utility yourself?
