Keyboard Problems

Hello everyone, I am trying to fix a Acer Aspire 3651 WLMI laptop. The trouble that I seem to be having is that the keyboard is acting funny. For example the consoul key when pressed it giving me a / simple. When I hit one of the quotation marks, I am getting è and question mark is a È aswell. The brackets are giving ^^ and çç and there are a few others. I tried to uninstall the drivers and reinstall again. I searched threw google and found nothing and I tried to change the lanugage in control panal but to no avail. Please help me as son as you can, It would be a great help for me..thanks a billion!

What is now the default input language? (Run intl.cpl, Languages tab > Details button > Settings tab)
Moreover, in the Advanced tab, do the right codepages (i.e. of the language you want to use) have their boxes checked?

Its USA english but it's still acting goofy, and yes the boxes are checked

Keyboard issue? Try using an external keyboard. See if it exibits the same problem.
