fit laptop screen

does anyone know how to fit a laptop screen for COMPAQ ARMADA M700?

No! don't even try it.

Laptop screens are very specialised and should only be worked on by people who really do know what they are doing.

When you say "fit" are you trying to repair the screen or replace the lid to the laptop? I'm in the States

the laptop was opened for training purposes. also to upgrade hardware.
both the screen and base of the laptop are in working condition..

...and, yes. i am just trying to get the lid back on. i have connected the wires and hinges but when trying to slot into place it feels as if it will crack the plastic.
