Can anyone recommend a good laptop cooler?
Hi,
I'm looking for something that actually works while using your laptop as intended... IN YOUR LAP :P lol.. I had recently decided to get one and didn't realize just how difficult the task would be. I'm finding that most are recommended for use only on a desk or flat surface. So I'm just having a bit of trouble finding something that will help cool this monster down. Any suggestions would be appreciated. And it doesn't help either when bestbuy, circuit city, and fry's are all only carrying the same one by targus XD so pointing me in the direction of a website to purchase one from would also be appreciated :) Thanks a bunch, Zelda ;) |

Hiya, Zelda.
Laptop coolers tend to only be devices that you set the laptop on with fans to pull more heat away. My laptop gets awfully hot when gaming, but it otherwise cool with other applications. www.newegg.com www.tigerdirect.com www.zipzoomfly.com

I always recomend the BYTECC Aluminum Notebook Cooler. I have one now and it works great. If you want to use it on your lap, just put a wood board under it. This is the most effective cooling pad I've found.

I'm using the Antec Notebook Cooler, very cool!
The fans draw cool air in and exhaust hot air out, No batteries or power adapter needed, Aluminum surface helps conduct heat away from laptop; Draw power from any USB port |
