Error Message 175: Bad CRC1
IBM ThinkPad A21e will not boot. error message 0175 bad crci, stop post task. Is there anything I can do to repair?

CRC is a checksum done on the CMOS. You have a bad backup battery. Replace the battery and enter setup to set the date and time. You should be good to go.
