can I do this process??
Hello every body,,,
I have a signle hard disk 40GB with two partitions C and D each with 20GB capacity. I have the D: full with my info and files but the C: is still has about 70% free. I am thinking to add some GBs (about 7) to D: by taking them from C: without having to format both or any. Can I do this? or is there a special software to do this? regards,, |

I know partition magic 8 can do it but it is not a free program unfortunatly,
you may find something here that will help you out http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilit...neditors.shtml . . OHHH I almost forgot, make sure you have a backup of any data that is important or irriplacable as this can sometimes be frought with danger. Working with or changing any hard drive structures can sometimes not workout the way you want it to and result in data loss. Although in saying this i have done it many times and not had a problem
