Cannot find Data on a slaved drive

I took a 20 gig drive that was running win98se and slaved it on my pc running windows 2000. I have done this a couple of times before with no problems.

The drive shows up, but when I open it it shows 15 gig of unused space and 0gigs of used space??

I am really confused as to where the data is?

I would be very grateful to anyone that can help. There cannot be a way that the data was wiped off since I didn't format the drive? Win 2000 is use fat 32 just like win98se.

Thanks for your help

GVG

My System

Send a message via MSN to linderman
when the computer boots up does the bios see the drive and report its maker and size correctly ?????

then go to the drive makers website and download the free diagnostic utility to check the mechanical health of the drive
