New Hard Drive, now no sound

I have just installed a new hard drive into system that had a system restore key(f11) instead of booting from cd and formatting the hard drive. the system now has no sound. was the sound driver on the old hard drive. The system has no sound card. I can only think it was on the old hard drive i took out.

The mobo is a ms-6786.

Any ideas ?

your going to have to enter the device manager and update your sound device which probably has a yellow conflict alert on it
your motherboard disk will have the driver for the on board sound
or you can download it from here
