Hdd Not Showing Full Capacity

As i am making a new system, i had installed a new 120gb hdd, as i started FDISK and creating a new dos partition, after iit was checking for drive integration and rached 40% the cpu got heated and started giving warning tones as it was overheating, on checking it was found that the cpu was getting overheating due to lack of heat paste, That was resolved, but when i again Fdisked the HDD and after checking drive integration integration, it shows only 48 GB as maximum disk space, am at wits end pls advice how i can get full disk space i.e 120Gb

try running boot & nuke (free in my signature) on the drive >>>> choose floppy disk version >>>> when the boot & nuke console opens choose autonuke from the options in the console >>>> make sure any other hard drives you may have >>> pull the power plug out of them !! Dban has the capability to erase multiple drives is so commnaded by error !!

this process will return your drive to the exact same condition as it was out of the box.

regards

joe
