Adding a new HD
I have an emachines w3050 which has an 80gb hard drive, i want to add atleast another 80gb or 120gb HD
specs: 2 x 5.25" (External Access) • 3 x 3.5" (Internal Access) • 1 x 3.5" (External Access) What type of HD would fit and work with this machine and how would i add it (i know master/slave, would it be 'slave'?) Thanks fellas. |

a new ATA 100 or 133 IDE hard drive would eaisly fit your needs / you drive would mount right into one of the 3x3.5 inch interanal drive bays without any hassle what so ever. yes Slave drive jumper
check your existing hard drive cable >>> is there and empty connection readily available at the middle of the ribbon cable ?????? regards joe
