Partition Slave Drive

O/S XP Pro. Have installed new 200 gb drive as slave. Unable to partition or copy partition using Partition Magic 8.1. Slave and master are both in NTFS.

Hi,

If you can't get it recognized to do what you want, then use the manufacturer's utility to partition and format it for use. They usually do the best job anyway. I don't know the brand you have, but you can find the utility here:

Thank you tumbleweed 36. Partition Magic was of no use on this Maxtor drive. MaxBlast4 was downloaded as you suggested and did the job.
