What is it?Where did it come from? How can I stop it..It keeps shutting my computer down

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? Or any of the latest Windows Updates installed? Please refer to this site and see if this helps..

Thanks...I wonder if this thing had something to do with crashing of my hard drive..IE..No hard disc found..cant boot...

that sound like either a hard drive taking a dump or the power supply, or both.

Well the NT thing happened a few months agao,then again last week.Everything was fine , last time I used it was Sunday,went to use the computer yesterday,says " no hard drive disc detected" cant get into the computer at all...Loud nosies from the computer..This freakin computer is only 2 yrs old with very limited time on the net.
