Hard Drive Fried?
I currently have two internal hard drives in my rig. I was unplugging and plugging back in the power in each, and while doing so my power goes out. Now, whenever I start the computer, it gets as far as the Gateway display and then it says hard drive not found.

you will need to run the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic utility on the drive / this is usually in the form of a bootable floppy disk
does the bios recognise the drive and report it upon restart ????? can you hear the drive spin up ????? have you tried another drive cable ?????? have you tried a diff power connector from a device know to work i.e. cd-rom drives power plug ????? regards joe

I started it up again, and after 10 mins it went to a black screen and at the bottom it said Network selected as first boot device for current boot, now it says Entering setup...., and whenever I hit F12 it says Network selected as first boot device for current boot. Its still saying Entering setup though.

your boot order is incorrect / its trying to boot from a network youre probally not connected to ?????
change your boot order to floppy, hard drive, cd-rom drive dont forget to save & exit after you make your changes also the cause of this may well be a dead cmos battery not saving your proper settings ???? joe
