Can't see my removable drive in My Computer
I do want some help from you guys. I bought this maxtor hard drive 300 gb, and i also bought a hard disc enclosure, i followed the instruction to connect them, but when i plug it in my computer using usb, it seems i can't see my external drive on my system. Can you help me fix that, thanks a lot

has your drive been partitioned and formatted ????? are you running service pack-2 for win xp ????
you can check on your drive by booting up the computer 1) do you see the usb device indicator next to the clock in the taskbar ????? also right click on my computer/ select "manage" from the upper part of the menu / then select "disk management" from the left pane of the next console that pops up see if your usb drive shows up in there / right click on it and see what options come up if its shows in disk management regards joe
