Sata Hard Drive

I had an MSI motherboard before. It came with an SATA floppy so i could reformat. My new ASUS P5LD2 however does not come with a SATA floppy. Is it located in the Cd? or does this motherboard not need a cd and can recognize it by itself.

You need to go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and download it if it's not on the cd. It should be there on the cd. There is normally a program or makeboot utility for loading your sata drivers on a floppy. They could possibly be in a folder on the cd and you can drag them to the floppy.

My System

The SATA drivers are located on the CD. You will need to create a floppy with the SATA drivers on it from the CD.
