HELP ME!!! I deleted my boot sector

I have accedently deleted my boot sector today, i am currently using an old ide drive that i installed to help fix the problem.

There are a ton of programs that help you restore boots sectors, but they all cost money, and i need to make sure i am using the right one.

Is there any way to restore my boot sector, and use my hard drive as it was. I didn't partition over the drive yet. And i have used a few programs to restore the files, and i see that they are all there, but I can't restore the boot sector for sure, unless i buy them and try too.

I'm running windows xp home SP2 if that helps any

HELP ME SOMEBODY!!!
