What was the status of the drives prior to trying to install windows on the drives / did they come from another computer / were they "bootable" drives from another computer ?????????
download a win98SE boot disk from www.bootdisk.com / it will give you instructions for making a bootable floppy disk but it in your floppy drive and boot from it you will get an A: prompt type A:FDISK and hit enter when it ask if you want support for large disks / click yes go into Option # 4 view partion information / in there you should see what partitions you have / and which partition is set to active DONT do anything else in there unless you understand partioning and want to delete and "wipe off your drive" regards: joe
