Angry RAID controller problem...

I'm not running a RAID Array and have IDE operation enabled in BIOS. I keep getting the "Found New Hardware" Wiz when I start up. How can I stop this? I tried to install the RAID controller drivers just to stop it. I am unable to install them although the VIA RAID Tool show up in my tool bar.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

not sure if its the proper way but it worked for me

My own pc is an asus p4c800 deluxe and i had the same deal if you go into your control panel then system and device manager you can remove that controller and you wont have to be annoyed by it at every boot like I said Im no expert by any means but thats just what worked for me

P. S. I also just remembered I also went into the bios and disabled the controller as well so if your comfortable with doing that you should do that as well
