EEK! HELP!! Reformatted computer!

Hello,
I had a tech-savvy friend try to get rid of my virus on my laptop, and without consulting me, he reformatted my whole laptop to get rid of the virus! I am a multimedia designer, so you can imagine how upset losing all of my files from the last 5 years made me. I know that I should have backed everything up, but does anyone know of a way to recover all of my files? (everything from JPG's, PSD's, PDF's AI's etc....)

Any advice or help would be appreciated!!!

Re: HELP!! Reformatted computer!

Scan with the demos of r-studio and getdataback and see which one does the best job of recovery. There is a chance if the OS was reinstalled that some files may have been overwritten. You will need to recover the files to another disk.
