fdisk

Having a problem with my system formatted no problem but then I ran fdisk somewhere along the way I lost everything must have selected the wrong option any help i would be very grateful.

So what exactly are you now trying to do? You can simply partition and format to get the drive usable again.

Sounds like you have 1 HDD that has multiple partitions. In any case, have you tried the sticky at the top of the page?

Have you "lost" a hard drive, partition or files in your computer?

It is now showing HDD UNKNOWN do I need to go to my BIOS settings to manually seach for it?

Is the drive recognized by the BIOS? Is the drive recognized by Disk Management (Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management / Storage - Disk Management)? If it's in Disk Management, what is the status of the drive?
