[SOLVED] Western Digital Passport HELP PLZ!!
Hi,
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and I used a program called Macrium Reflect to restore a system image into my external passport drive, I left it on throughout the night and for some reason the restore did not work and turned the storage on my external passport into 'unallocated' space in the disk manager. For now, I created a volume with the unallocated space, formatted it with NTFS and it works fine, but my passport drive is now under the 'Hard Disk Drives' in 'My Computer' instead of being under 'Devices with Removable Storage'. I tried reformatting it, but it doesn't do anything, it still is considered a system hard drive... I downloaded the Western Digital FAT32 Formatter, but I get an error saying "Cannot copy image to disk! " What can I do to make it a 'Device with Removable Storage' again ? |

Re: [SOLVED] Western Digital Passport HELP PLZ!!
Why do you want it seen as a removeable device? Maybe I'm missing something, but it is not a device with removable storage.
