WD External USB hard drive remove enclosure
Has anyboy removed the enclosure on a western digital series II USB hard drive? is it possible to remove the hard drive and put another one in?

Any USB external drive I've ever seen contains a bog standard IDE hard disk, it's quite possible to remove and replace them.
I took a WD apart a while back when the drive failed, don't remember the model. It had a chunk of plastic that slid on one side to make it look fancy, and the screws were hidden under a couple of the glued on rubber feet.
