[SOLVED] Seems to be common

I am having the common issue of Vista not recognizing the hard drive during install. I have read so many threads online about this issue, even called the tech support for the mobo, updated the BIOS, formatted/partitioned, checked all the connections from mobo, drivers drivers drivers. Although Vista on ym computer sees the HD, and formatted it, and the new computer BIOS recognizes it, Vista will not show it. I am going the easy way out and trying in Native IDE, yet i get nothing. I even tried to install windows on the HD through my personal computer, but it still will not notice the HD either. My theories and possibilities are shot, anyone have a better clue than I obviously do?
