cant open dll's(in dos mode)
started out as troganhorse startpage?? not sure of exact number.booted with floppy,then put in 5 grisoft avg floppys,found out that many files could not be opened (c drive).i think my prob is that i accidentally changeds the program to open a .dll from "unkown application" to a virus program!its icon is "dummy"! very apropriate. BTW, i cant start windows in safe mode, only in floppy A prompt mode. i think if i could put virus progam (spybot or stinger)on floppy or somehow get it on hard disk - the .dlls woulds open and bingo- i could boot normally and my pc would be ok but w/out the viri. how far off am i? any advice other than of course fdisk and reformat? thanks. this is my 1st forum! aileron
