New Hardrive? Will HP send reinstallation cd for Vista?

I have a HP laptop with vista 32. I was running a chkdsk /r and it was taking longer than expected (after 4 days 41%) so I forced it off(held down power button) and when i cut it back on it said "hardware faillure is iminent, backup data immediately" The laptop hasn't worked since... So I've decided to just get a new hardrive... My question is will HP send me Vista installation cd's ???

I am in the same boat. My hard drive failed and I am looking for a compatible hard drive to replace it. When I realized HP didn't include a vista/drivers recovery disc when I bought the laptop I went to the website and was able to order a recovery disc. I had to pay $16 because I was out of warranty.
