Problems upon start up

Hey y'all.

I have a problem when I turn on my computer. I turn it on, the fans start rotating, but that's it. The monitor doesn't respond, as if the computer was turned off. Just ask me if you want more details. I recorded a video of it with me commenting on english. Once again, just ask here or on a PM to see the movie.

Couple of things, what kind of computer is it, make/model? When was the last time the computer worked fine?

Also, you mentioned that you can hear/see the fans spinning, can you also hear the hard drive spin up? does the hard drive light come on?
