No hard drives in DM

My system is a socket 939 AMD, 2.2 gigs, and 2 gigs of ram, with an ECS RX-480A motherboard and an Nvidia 6500 video card. I recently reformated and reinstalled my system, today I went into disk management to check one of my slave drives and none of my three hard drives appears. The only two items listed are my two optical drives. They are listed on the startup screen and appear in the bios. This is a new one to me. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

Re: No hard drives in DM

Are you using Norton's? Several posts I've found indicate that Norton has a bug (what's new).

Thanks for your reply Dogg, not using Norton, using McAfee 2007, system is running fine, computer boots normally, hard drives appear in my computer and device manager. What else do you think might be.

uninstall them from the device manager then scan for hardware changes
