WD My Book Home Edition problem over Firewire!
Hi guys,
I'm using a WD My Book Home Edition 500Gb over a Firewire connection, the problem is all processes related to copying will freeze when the size of the file goes beyond 500Mb! I have tried connecting the device using USB2.0 & it didn't have any problems, also used the Firewire connection on another system which worked flawlessly again! I don't know how to get it fixed! As it might be important, I used to connect the device using eSata but it kept disappearing without any reason all of a sudden so I decided to change it to Firewire! (I'm on Windows 7, the other system was on Seven too) Any help is really appreciated! Thanks in advance. Last edited by eiankei; 09-20-2009 at 02:27 AM. |
