My computer wont get past the second black screen..

Hello, If this is in the wrong section I apologize. My computer wont get past the second black screen. Its before the windows loading screen. So I figured i'd crashed it, and needed to re-install windows. So I put the disc in, and when I choose to re-install it says no Hard Disc drive was found. What can I do? I experienced a Blue screen before all this started happening as well.
