[SOLVED] new install

model el1210-09. removed pre-installed windows vista. now unsuccessful in installing win xp sp1. appears i need drivers for the seagate sata HDD. am i correct? where do i go for the drivers?

You need the drivers for your motherboard SATA controller, not for the drive. Get those from the mobo/system manufacturer

was successful in obtaining drivers from nvidia. then used nlite to add them to an installation cd. very pleased with the nlite software.
