Casing for Seagate laptop hard drive?
Hi all,
I am new here and this is my first post so sorry if you have come across this question many times. I am adding a new hard drive to my HP laptop that I recently purchased from NewEgg. The Hard drive I purchased was a Seagate Momentus 7200.4 and I bought it as OEM. I am wondering where I can purchase the metal casing that is required to install the hard drive. I have looked around NewEgg, TigerDirect and the manufactures website but I can't seem to find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Casing for Seagate laptop hard drive?
That would probably be something you could get from HP, if you have a second bay in the laptop it may already be in the empty bay, if replacing the original drive then just reuse. If HP didn't include the mounting adapter then they may sell a 'kit' for mounting the second drive.
