OS: windows xp srv pack 3


Twisted New SATA Hard Drive Not deteced in Bios

Here's my problem

This is a new build using some old parts
New Motherboard Asus P5Q3 Deluxe
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83
PSU Corsair 650W
Western Digital 500GB SATA Harddrive
Radeon HD 3870 Video Card
Crucial 8GB DDR3
Old Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum
Old Dvd/Cd Rewritable drive Sony Dru-500AX
Old Dvd Rom Drive Sony
Old Case

I Cannot get sata hard drive to reqcoz in bios
Get error message hard drive not detected.
Old dvd drives connected to ide will not
Work. I went into the bios made sure
Marvell Controller is enabled. Can You help me

Have you set the bios to IDE mode for the Sata?
