Re: hard drive not booting up
Hello,
Was any changes recently made to the system? Can you boot into the BIOS? Check to make sure HDD detected. Check the Boot order to make sure correct. Restart the system and tap F8. Under Advanced Option choose (Last Known Good, Safe Mode, etc) to see if the system will boot.

Re: hard drive not booting up
all I did was re-install a game (armed assault) whitch worked fine before I reformated it. I have checked cables, even tryed different cables. (Note it's not the primary computer hard drive).
edit: haven't went into bios yet to do anything - i also used western digitals tools to check the hard drive and it says its fine Last edited by Peter G; 06-23-2009 at 04:02 PM. |

Re: hard drive not booting up
Since this has happened since you reinstalled something, do a system restore to a day before you did the reinstall and see if that helps.
