Question HD Errors - advice please :)

Hey techos, my HD's been a bit dodgy of late, few freezes, few times locking up every 10 seconds. Disk check got a few of the following errors last time I did it:

'deleting corrupt attribute record (128 "") from file segment .....'

'deleting index entry .....'

'windows replaced bad clusters in file ..... of name ....'

My question is - is this a windows stuff up or is it possible the HD's damaged? (it's not an old HD)

Thanks :)

Re: HD Errors - advice please :)

chkdsk looks primarily at simple logical errors in the file structure - to verify drive integrity download the HD manufacturer's diagnostics and test the actual drive.
