Connecting External Cd burner to my Sony Vaio Laptop
hi i bought a external cd burner that has Firewire and i dont know how to connect it my laptop model is VGN-N110G and i just need help connecting it if someone could help me that would be great. thanks

From the cut sheet it looks like your laptop has a 4 pin 1394 ( firewire or as Sony calls it i.link ) port. The burner probably uses a 6 pin cable, may have to get a different cable, and not sure if the burner will work if you only have a 4 pin source.
