installing slave HD

i was given a dell 2400 with no HD. i ought a new one and installed it then put windows xp on it. then i was given a dell 3000 with xp already installed. i want to keep the old HD in the 3000 (it has programs i dont want to pay for) but i want the new bigger HD in it as well. is there anything i need to know, will having windows on both cause problems. what exactly do i need to do to not have any issues?

You should not have any issues to slave the drive to another computer as long as your master/slave jumpers setting is done correctly and you set your hard drive priority setting in the bios correctly.
