[SOLVED] Dual Boot Info
I want to install two different versions of XP Pro and Linux.
There's got to be an easy way to do this... anyone? I know making 3 partitions and installing them on each is possible, but I'd like to know more before taking the plunge... |

Re: Dual Boot Info
The easiest way is to have two hard drives. One Sata and one IDE. Load Xp to the Sata followed by Linux. Linux will load a Boot manager for you. Then load the other XP to the IDE. You then use the Bios Boot priority to select which drive you want to use.
Another way is for the Linux OS to be Puppy Linux, Puppy has THE best Boot manager, it will pick up ALL drives and let you select which OS you want.( most versions of Linux don't have this facility). If you make three partitions and install XP twice you could get probs. |
