Recovering Pictures from a corrupted Hard drive
Hello. My hard drive was corrupted today and I was wondering if there is any way to recover files off a corrupted hard drive. I was using Vista 64-bit on an HP laptop. Basically windows wont load when I start it and when i checked the hard disk it failed almost instantly. The only reason I ask is that I have all of my pictures from my Europe trip this summer on that computer and it would mean so much to me if there was a way to recover them. I know I should have backed them up, but I didn't. Please, if there is ANY way at all in which I can get them back I would be so grateful. Thank you.

Re: Recovering Pictures from a corrupted Hard drive
Buy a new hard drive, load Vista to it. Buy a 2 1/2 inch external USB enclosure and insert the old drive into it. With luck you should be able to get your files.
