USB device not recognised Seagate external drive
Hi,
I just pruchased a new 1TB seagate freeagent external drive. I plugged it in an got a USB device not recognised. I am running Vista home premium and have tried all of my USB slots on my Acer Aspire T180 PC. If I plug it into my sons laptop which is running XP all is fine and dandy. I had an online chat with a tech from seagate but because it worked on the laptop he said the fault was with my PC and had no other suggestions or ideas. All my other devices are recognised and work fine when I plug them in  Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
