Hard drive suddenly full and formatting doesnt work.

hey guys,

I left my laptop on a night not too long ago and when i woke up it was suddenly full. I was just letting it install Lineage 2. I then tried to uninstall the game again and my hard drive was still full. I then tried to format it but when it was done there were still only about 16 gb left. And it is a 320 gb hard drive.

System stats:

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Prozessor T6400 mit 2 x 2.0 GHz
4096MB DDR2 Memory PC2-5300
512MB NVIDIA® Geforce™ 9600M GT
320GB SATA 2.5 Zoll 5400upm (hard drive)
I run Windows Vista Ultimate Pack.

It would be really kind if someone could help me with my problem.

did you format it from a dos promn't
in disk management
or booting from the vista dvd
how many partitions on it and do you have a restore partition

Can you mount the drive in another PC and give us a screen shot from disk management showing the drive? Might have gotten one of the mystery HPAs set...
