Installing new SATA hard drive HELP

Hello,

I need some help trying to install a third HARD DRIVE.
Here's the info:::
I have two IDE hard drives installed currently, one as Master and the other as Slave (they both run off of Vista if that helps);
I purchased a SATA hard drive and tried to install it as my third hard drive, but my OS would give me constant errors and crashes;
I would appreciate greatly some suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Actually, I am one step closer:
Now it reads the drive as a DVD drive, any advice?

Re: Installing new SATA hard drive HELP

Check in the Bios to see if the Sata is set as 1st boot priority. If so select the Ide. reboot.
