Need help with hardrive
Okay someone got in my computer and messed some things up. When I went to start windows it won't boot and displays an error message with the name of the hardrive in it. When I opened the case I couldn't figure out the problem. It's been a while since I installed my hardrive and I have a few questions. I noticed my cable running from my ide hardrive being different in two ways, one the ending port or whatever was blue now its green and it's connected to the ide raid controller card. Should it be connected to the controller card or straight to the mother board? If that was the problem then what does connect to the controller card?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need help with hardrive
Why do you have a IDE Raid card with a single drive?
If you have a single hard drive then I would think it should go to the motherboard IDE controller. |
