unable to access external hard drive
Hi
screen broke on my compaque so purchased a new laptop. Bought a intergral external case and placed hard drive fom broken laptop inside. drive does not show in my computer but is visible as disk 1 unknown in control panel drive disk management. Here it says not initialized but it will not let me initialize it as when i try it just says device not ready. Am running vista home premium. Can anyone please advize how I can access this drive to retrieve files Thanks Boydy |
