Turn Laptop HDD into External Drive

I know you can do it, but what do I need? I heard all you need is a case that then plugs into a USB port, but I'm not finding anything. Anyone recommend anything specific? I believe all laptop HDD's are the same size right?

Two different interfaces, IDE or SATA. Once you determine that google "usb 2.5 inche enclosure" without quotes and pick the interface you need.
