data recovery off old drive
Hi Guys,
So, my beloved old IBM finally gave up the ghost the other day. I'm trying to recover documents off the drive, and I have it hooked up to the new computer, but it isn't letting me access anything specific to any one user. How do I get past the point where I'd normally enter a login code when dealing with just-files? All I'm getting now is 'skc is not accessible, Access Is Denied.' Thanks! |

Re: data recovery off old drive
You need to take ownership of the files, -> right click on the folder -> security tab -> advanced _> owner -> replace ownership and then OK your way back
