testdisk-6.10.win
Disk manager reports my usb hd as unallocated, which, as I understand, means that I deleted the partition table upon installing the OS (XP) with the usb drive connected and under power. Testdisk-6.10.win is asking for the partition table type, which would be intel,pc partition, and then to press enter. This action I assume will lead to repartitioning the drive at some point. My question is: will the data be lost if I proceed and is there a way to accomplish this without losing the data on the drive?
Thanks |

Re: testdisk-6.10.win
test disk will not repartition, it will search for the missing partition info and attempt to restore the old partition table - non destructive...
