Sata/Ide HD Compatibility Problem
I recently bought an SATA HD for my HP laptop, but found out that it only takes IDE. Would a converter like the one in the link below work?

If you read the details it says will not fit in most laptops. I have never seen an adapter that will fit in a laptop. This also uses a 44 pin connector, so it is probably a special purpose connector. It says for POS (point of sale systems ) and mini computers (PCs are classed as micro-computers.)
