Re: appdata.... missing entry b
Is there any other information? A title in the dialog window? At what point in the boot sequence do the messages start? Before or after the windows splash screen?

Re: appdata.... missing entry b
I am having the same problem with "appdata/roaming/c004634.mat missing entry b" it numbers before .mat change every time it comes up. I have tried all day to fix it and just clicking it away hasn't worked. I have also ran several viruses and registry problems to try and fix the problem. I have try changing the start up programs and everything. My friend told me it might be a new virus thats doing this but I do not know.

Re: appdata.... missing entry b
I'm guessing this is under Vista? Not 100% sure what the reference is to, but it is located in the user profile folder and from a couple of checks looks like something related to a roaming profile. You might get a better response posting this in the Vista support forum - I don't think it is actually a hard drive related issue, but more related to teh OS.
